SOIL GENESIS AND PEDOGENESIS

Soil genesis, commonly termed pedogenesis, is the complex process by which soils are formed. This ongoing transformation involves the combination of numerous influences, including climate, topography, parent material, biomass, and time. These factors interact in a coordinated manner to shape the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil
